Released in 2024, Chidambaram took a real-life survival story and turned it into something far more intimate than a rescue thriller. When a group of friends from Manjummel travel to Kodaikanal and one of them falls into the notoriously dangerous Guna Caves, what begins as a carefree trip becomes a test of loyalty, fear and instinct. Manjummel Boys works because the spectacle never overwhelms the friendship at its centre.
